WOODCHURCH FARM, BIRCHINGTON Ditch Investigation of a linear cropmark was carried out at the edge of a field at Woodchurch Farm near Birchington in February 2009. Geophys confirmed its location and a trial trench revealed a V-shaped ditch approximately 1 metre wide by 1 metre deep. No dating evidence has been found so far but further work is planned. |
