OTHER SOCIETY EVENINGS.
On Monday evenings, except for Bank Holiday Mondays, and not in the months of December and January,
we meet from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in our room at CRAMPTON TOWER YARD, BROADSTAIRS.
On those evenings, if there is no organised talk on archaeology or local history, there is an informal members' get-together, perhaps doing pot-washing, preparing a future event, discussing a current dig, examining recent finds with advice from a local professional archaeologist, or just chatting about local archaeology.
If you are interested in joining the Society then this is a good way to meet us and find out what's going on - please just drop in. MAP |
| BACK TO THE POWELL-COTTON MUSEUM AT QUEX: After a couple of months’ break to complete the huge pot washing task for the Trust, members are now back at Quex on Wednesday mornings working on a rearrangement of the museum's archaeology display. Please speak to a Committee member if you are interested in helping with this work. |
